editor: Add minimap (#26893)
## Overview

This PR adds the minimap feature to the Zed editor, closely following
the [design from Visual Studio
Code](https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/getstarted/userinterface#_minimap).
When configured, a second instance of the editor will appear to the left
of the scrollbar. This instance is not interactive and it has a slimmed
down set of annotations, but it is otherwise just a zoomed-out version
of the main editor instance. A thumb shows the line boundaries of the
main viewport, as well as the progress through the document. Clicking on
a section of code in the minimap will jump the editor to that code.
Dragging the thumb will act like the scrollbar, moving sequentially
through the document.

![screenshot of Zed with three editors open and the minimap enabled,
showing the
slider](https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/4178d23a-a5ea-4e38-b871-06dd2a8f9560)

## New settings

This adds a `minimap` section to the editor settings with the following
keys:

### `show`

When to show the minimap in the editor.
This setting can take three values:
1. Show the minimap if the editor's scrollbar is visible: `"auto"`
2. Always show the minimap: `"always"`
3. Never show the minimap: `"never"` (default)

### `thumb`

When to show the minimap thumb.
This setting can take two values:
1. Show the minimap thumb if the mouse is over the minimap: `"hover"`
2. Always show the minimap thumb: `"always"` (default)

### `width`

The width of the minimap in pixels.

Default: `100`

### `font_size`

The font size of the minimap in pixels.

Default: `2`

## Providing feedback

In order to keep the PR focused on development updates, please use the
discussion thread for feature suggestions and usability feedback: #26894

## Features left to add

- [x] fix scrolling performance
- [x] user settings for enable/disable, width, text size, etc.
- [x] show overview of visible lines in minimap
- [x] clicking on minimap should navigate to the corresponding section
of code
- ~[ ] more prominent highlighting in the minimap editor~
- ~[ ] override scrollbar auto setting to always when minimap is set to
always show~

Release Notes:

- Added minimap for high-level overview and quick navigation of editor
contents.

debugger: Add support for inline value hints (#28656)
This PR uses Tree Sitter to show inline values while a user is in a
debug session.

We went with Tree Sitter over the LSP Inline Values request because the
LSP request isn't widely supported. Tree Sitter is easy for
languages/extensions to add support to. Tree Sitter can compute the
inline values locally, so there's no need to add extra RPC messages for
Collab. Tree Sitter also gives Zed more control over how we want to show
variables.

There's still more work to be done after this PR, namely differentiating
between global/local scoped variables, but it's a great starting point
to start iteratively improving it.

Fix panic calling blocks_intersecting_buffer_range with an empty range (#28049)
Previously, when comparing a block with an empty range to an empty query
range in non-inclusive mode, our binary search logic could end up
computing an inverted range, causing a panic.

This commit adds special casing when comparing empty blocks with empty
ranges.

cc @as-cii: I'm realizing that the approach to searching for the
intersecting replacement blocks makes some invalid assumptions about the
ordering of replace decorations. They aren't ordered at all by their end
range. @maxbrunsfeld and I are wondering if long term, we should remove
replace decorations and find another solution for folding buffers in
multi buffers.

change hunk with a pending inline transformation present.

This PR adds functionality for loading the diff for an arbitrary git
commit, and displaying it in a tab. To retrieve the diff for the commit,
I'm using a single `git cat-file --batch` invocation to efficiently load
both the old and new versions of each file that was changed in the
commit.

Todo

* Features
* [x] Open the commit view when clicking the most recent commit message
in the commit panel
  * [x] Open the commit view when clicking a SHA in a git blame column
  * [x] Open the commit view when clicking a SHA in a commit tooltip
  * [x] Make it work over RPC
  * [x] Allow buffer search in commit view
* [x] Command palette action to open the commit for the current blame
line
* Styling
* [x] Add a header that shows the author, timestamp, and the full commit
message
  * [x] Remove stage/unstage buttons in commit view
  * [x] Truncate the commit message in the tab
* Bugs
  * [x] Dedup commit tabs within a pane
  * [x] Add a tooltip to the tab

Release Notes:

- Added the ability to show past commits in Zed. You can view the most
recent commit by clicking its message in the commit panel. And when
viewing a git blame, you can show any commit by clicking its sha.

file_finder: Remove common segments of long paths in search results (#25049)
This PR makes progress on #7711 by identifying any common prefix of the
paths in the file finder's search results, and replacing the "interior"
of that prefix---every path segment but the first and last---with `...`,
when a heuristic indicates that the longest path would otherwise
overflow the modal.

The elision is not applied to any segment that contains a match for the
search query.

There may be more work to do on #7711 in the case of long result paths
that do not share a significant common prefix.

Eliminate GPUI View, ViewContext, and WindowContext types (#22632)
There's still a bit more work to do on this, but this PR is compiling
(with warnings) after eliminating the key types. When the tasks below
are complete, this will be the new narrative for GPUI:

- `Entity<T>` - This replaces `View<T>`/`Model<T>`. It represents a unit
of state, and if `T` implements `Render`, then `Entity<T>` implements
`Element`.
- `&mut App` This replaces `AppContext` and represents the app.
- `&mut Context<T>` This replaces `ModelContext` and derefs to `App`. It
is provided by the framework when updating an entity.
- `&mut Window` Broken out of `&mut WindowContext` which no longer
exists. Every method that once took `&mut WindowContext` now takes `&mut
Window, &mut App` and every method that took `&mut ViewContext<T>` now
takes `&mut Window, &mut Context<T>`

Not pictured here are the two other failed attempts. It's been quite a
month!

Tasks:

- [x] Remove `View`, `ViewContext`, `WindowContext` and thread through
`Window`
- [x] [@cole-miller @mikayla-maki] Redraw window when entities change
- [x] [@cole-miller @mikayla-maki] Get examples and Zed running
- [x] [@cole-miller @mikayla-maki] Fix Zed rendering
- [x] [@mikayla-maki] Fix todo! macros and comments

- [x] Fix the tests
- [x] Fix warnings by eliminating `Window` params or using `_`

* [x] Delete the whole file, and expand the diff. Backspace over the
deleted hunk, panic!
* [x] Go-to-line now counts the diff hunks, but it should not
* [x] backspace at the beginning of a deleted hunk deletes too much text
* [x] Indent guides are rendered incorrectly
* [ ] Fix randomized multi buffer tests

Maybe:
* [ ] Buffer search should include deleted text (in vim mode it turns
out I use `/x` all the time to jump to the next x I can see).
* [ ] vim: should refuse to switch into insert mode if selection is
fully within a diff.
* [ ] vim `o` command when cursor is on last line of deleted hunk.
* [ ] vim `shift-o` on first line of deleted hunk moves cursor but
doesn't insert line
* [x] `enter` at end of diff hunk inserts a new line but doesn't move
cursor
* [x] (`shift-enter` at start of diff hunk does nothing)
* [ ] Inserting a line just before an expanded hunk collapses it

Release Notes:

- Improved diff rendering, allowing you to navigate with your cursor
inside of deleted text in diff hunks.

Fix single line edit prediction detection (#23456)
#23411 introduced an "Accept" callout for single line edits, but the
logic to detect them was incorrect causing it to trigger for multiline

Rework inlay hint cache tests (#23156)
Closes https://github.com/zed-industries/zed/issues/7928

* uncomments and fixes all inlay hint cache tests
* fixes a bug, where invalidated range did not store the new queried
ranges in the cache: this resulted in extra requests in editor that do
not fit into the screen
* comments a peculiarity with the `RefreshInlayHints` event: all editors
react to that when a new language server is inserted, even though
certain editors are not related to the new language server
* fixes handling of inlay hints for the same position: now the same
order is kept, as in the language server's response
(https://github.com/zed-industries/zed/issues/7928)
* queries for hints when on excerpt(s) expansion

vim: Fix clipping when navigating over inlay hints (#22813)
This fixes the issue described in this comment:
https://github.com/zed-industries/zed/pull/22439#issuecomment-2563896422

Essentially, we'd clip in the wrong direction when there were multi-line
inlay hints.

It also fixes inline completions for non-Zeta-providers showing up in
normal mode.

Allow folding buffers inside multi buffers (#22046)
Closes https://github.com/zed-industries/zed/issues/4925

https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/e7b87375-893f-41ae-a2d9-d501499e40d1

Allows to fold any buffer inside multi buffers, either by clicking the
chevron icon on the header, or by using
`editor::Fold`/`editor::UnfoldLines`/`editor::ToggleFold`/`editor::FoldAll`
and `editor::UnfoldAll` actions inside the multi buffer (those were noop
there before).

Every fold has a fake line inside it, so it's possible to navigate into
that via the keyboard and unfold it with the corresponding editor
action.

The state is synchronized with the outline panel state: any fold inside
multi buffer folds the corresponding file entry; any file entry fold
inside the outline panel folds the corresponding buffer inside the multi
buffer, any directory fold inside the outline panel folds the
corresponding buffers inside the multi buffer for each nested file entry
in the panel.

Release Notes:

- Added a possibility to fold buffers inside multi buffers
