This PR updates the edit predictions to include the prediction ID
returned from the server on the resulting telemetry events indicating
whether the prediction was accepted or discarded.
The `prediction_id` on the events can then be correlated with the
`request_id` on the server-side prediction events.

* When an edit prediction is present in non-insertion modes, hide it but
show `tab Jump to edit`.
* Removes discarding of edit predictions when going from insert mode to
normal mode, instead just hide them in non-insertion modes.
* Removes zeta-specific showing of predictions in normal mode. This
behavior was only happening in special cases anyway - where the discard
of completions wasn't happening due to some other thing taking
precedence in `dismiss_menus_and_popups`.

This PR makes it so we send up the diagnostic groups as additional data
with the edit prediction request.
We're not yet making use of them, but we are recording them so we can
use them later (e.g., to train the model).

There's still a bit more work to do on this, but this PR is compiling
(with warnings) after eliminating the key types. When the tasks below
are complete, this will be the new narrative for GPUI:
- `Entity<T>` - This replaces `View<T>`/`Model<T>`. It represents a unit
of state, and if `T` implements `Render`, then `Entity<T>` implements
`Element`.
- `&mut App` This replaces `AppContext` and represents the app.
- `&mut Context<T>` This replaces `ModelContext` and derefs to `App`. It
is provided by the framework when updating an entity.
- `&mut Window` Broken out of `&mut WindowContext` which no longer
exists. Every method that once took `&mut WindowContext` now takes `&mut
Window, &mut App` and every method that took `&mut ViewContext<T>` now
takes `&mut Window, &mut Context<T>`
Not pictured here are the two other failed attempts. It's been quite a
month!
Tasks:
- [x] Remove `View`, `ViewContext`, `WindowContext` and thread through
`Window`
- [x] [@cole-miller @mikayla-maki] Redraw window when entities change
- [x] [@cole-miller @mikayla-maki] Get examples and Zed running
- [x] [@cole-miller @mikayla-maki] Fix Zed rendering
- [x] [@mikayla-maki] Fix todo! macros and comments
- [x] Fix a bug where the editor would not be redrawn because of view
caching
- [x] remove publicness window.notify() and replace with
`AppContext::notify`
- [x] remove `observe_new_window_models`, replace with
`observe_new_models` with an optional window
- [x] Fix a bug where the project panel would not be redrawn because of
the wrong refresh() call being used
- [x] Fix the tests
- [x] Fix warnings by eliminating `Window` params or using `_`
- [x] Fix conflicts
- [x] Simplify generic code where possible
- [x] Rename types
- [ ] Update docs
### issues post merge
- [x] Issues switching between normal and insert mode
- [x] Assistant re-rendering failure
- [x] Vim test failures

This fixes the issue described in this comment:

Essentially, we'd clip in the wrong direction when there were multi-line
inlay hints.
It also fixes inline completions for non-Zeta-providers showing up in
normal mode.

This changes #22093 by making the change only have an effect for the
supported provider: Zeta.
Made the change because the UX is still experimental and I don't want to
break existing workflows for Copilot/Supermaven users.
Even Zeta users can opt-out of it by setting
`"show_inline_completions_in_menu": false` in their settings, in case
they want the old show-inline-completion-or-show-lsp-completion behavior
back.
Release Notes:

This is related to #22069 and #21858: before both of these PRs, we would
only ever show inline completions OR completions, never both at the same
time.
Now we show both at the same, but we still had this piece of logic here,
that prevented non-inline completions from showing up if there was
already an inline completion.
With this change, it's possible to get LSP completions without having to
dismiss inline completions before.
Release Notes:
- Inline completions (Copilot, Supermaven, ...) don't stop other
completions from showing up anymore. Both can now be visible at the same
time.

This changes the behavior of how we display inline completions and
non-inline completions (i.e. completion menu).
Previously we would never show inline completions if a completion menu
was visible, meaning that we'd never show Copilot/Supermaven/...
suggestions if the language server had a suggestion.
With this change, we now display the inline completions even if there is
a completion menu visible.
In that case `<tab>` then accepts the inline completion and `<enter>`
accepts the selected entry in the completion menu.
Release Notes:
- Changed how inline completions (Copilot, Supermaven, ...) and normal
completions (from language servers) interact. Zed will now also show
inline completions when the completion menu is visible. The user can
accept the inline completion with `<tab>` and the active entry in the
completion menu with `<enter>`. Previously, `<tab>` would also select
the active entry in the completion menu.

This PR extracts the `InlineCompletionProvider` trait and its related
types out of `editor` and into a new `inline_completion` crate.
By doing so we're able to remove a dependency on `editor` from the
`copilot` and `supermaven` crates.
We did have to move `editor::Direction` into the `inline_completion`
crate, as it is referenced by the `InlineCompletionProvider`. This
should find a better home, at some point.

Closes https://github.com/zed-industries/zed/issues/8534
Supersedes https://github.com/zed-industries/zed/pull/16349
Potential concerns:
* we do not follow up to the `/` when looking for `.editorconfig`, only
up to the worktree root.
Seems fine for most of the cases, and the rest should be solved
generically later, as the same issue exists for settings.json
* `fn language` in `AllLanguageSettings` is very hot, called very
frequently during rendering. We accumulate and parse all `.editorconfig`
file contents beforehand, but have to go over globs and match these
against the path given + merge the properties still.
This does not seem to be very bad, but needs more testing and
potentially some extra caching.

- Added .editorconfig support

After https://github.com/rust-lang/rust-analyzer/pull/18167 and certain

waited for `completionItem/resolve` to finish before applying the
completion results.

This PR removes the `replica_id` field from the `MultiBuffer` struct.

`MultiBuffer`, and never used it outside of that.

Updates the inline completion provider to return a completion proposal
which is then converted to a completion state. This completion proposal
includes more detailed information about which inlays specifically
should be rendered.
Release Notes:
- Added support for fill-in-the-middle style inline completions

Configures inline completions to delete the remaining text on the given
line. This doesn't affect the github copilot inline completion provider
since it seems to only generate suggestions if the cursor is at the end
of the line but fixes the usability issues related to Supermaven.

I'm not a huge fan of passing around a boolean all around the place, but
this will tame the events for now until we have a better solution.
Release Notes:

Data migration plan:
- [X] Make a duplicate table of `copilot_events`
- Name: `inline_completion_events`
- Omit `suggestion_id` column
- [X-reverted-skipping] In collab, continue to match on copilot_events,
but simply stuff their data into inline_completion_events, to forward it
to the new table
- [skipping] Once collab is deployed, ensure no events are being sent to
copilot_events, migrate `copilot_events` to new table via a transaction
- [skipping] Delete `copilot_events` table
---
- [X] Locally test that copilot events sent from old clients get put
into inline_completions_table
- [X] Locally test that copilot events and supermaven events sent from
new clients get put into inline_completions_table
---
- [X] Why are discard events being spammed?

This will throw off the past results for accepted / dismissed that I was
wanting to use to evaluate Supermaven quality, by comparing its rate
with copilot's rate.
I'm not super thrilled with this fix, but I think it'll do. In the
`supermaven_completions_provider`, we check if there's a `completion_id`
before sending either an accepted or discard completion event. I don't
see a similar construct in the `copilot_completions_provider` to
piggyback off of, so I begrudgingly introduced
`should_allow_event_to_send` and had it follow the same pattern that
`completion_id` does. Maybe there's a better way?

Adds a supermaven provider for completions. There are various other
refactors amidst this branch, primarily to make copilot no longer a
dependency of project as well as show LSP Logs for global LSPs like
copilot properly.
This feature is not enabled by default. We're going to seek to refine it
in the coming weeks.
