debugger: Fix running JS tests when worktree root and package root do not coincide (#32644)
- construct the correct path to the test library based on the location
of package.json
- run scripts from the package root where they were defined
- run tests in the directory of the defining file

Release Notes:

- Debugger Beta: fixed running JS tests when the worktree root is above
the location of package.json.

python: Re-land usage of source file path in toolchain picker (#31893)
This reverts commit 1e55e88c18.

Closes #ISSUE

Release Notes:

- Python toolchain selector now uses path to the closest pyproject.toml
as a basis for picking a toolchain. All files under the same
pyproject.toml (in filesystem hierarchy) will share a single virtual
environment. It is possible to have multiple Python virtual environments
selected for disjoint parts of the same project.

AsyncFn* into a trait object. There's ways around that, but they're all
more complex than just keeping the code as is.

cx.background_executor().spawn(...) -> cx.background_spawn(...) (#25103)
Done automatically with

> ast-grep -p '$A.background_executor().spawn($B)' -r
'$A.background_spawn($B)' --update-all --globs "\!crates/gpui"

Followed by:

* `cargo fmt`
* Unexpected need to remove some trailing whitespace.
* Manually adding imports of `gpui::{AppContext as _}` which provides
`background_spawn`
* Added `AppContext as _` to existing use of `AppContext`

Rename model based variable names to entity (#24198)
## Context
While looking through the client crate, I noticed that some of the old
functions and variables were still using gpui::model name that was
deprecated during the gpui3 transition. This PR renames those instances
of model to entity to be more inline with gpui3.

In addition, I also renamed `model` to `entity` in cases found by the
below search terms given by @someone13574

- model = cx.
- model: Entity
- model: &Entity
- OpenedModelHandle
- model.update
- model.upgrade
- model = .*\.root (regex)
- parent_model
- model = cx.new
- cx.spawn(move |model

Eliminate GPUI View, ViewContext, and WindowContext types (#22632)
There's still a bit more work to do on this, but this PR is compiling
(with warnings) after eliminating the key types. When the tasks below
are complete, this will be the new narrative for GPUI:

- `Entity<T>` - This replaces `View<T>`/`Model<T>`. It represents a unit
of state, and if `T` implements `Render`, then `Entity<T>` implements
`Element`.
- `&mut App` This replaces `AppContext` and represents the app.
- `&mut Context<T>` This replaces `ModelContext` and derefs to `App`. It
is provided by the framework when updating an entity.
- `&mut Window` Broken out of `&mut WindowContext` which no longer
exists. Every method that once took `&mut WindowContext` now takes `&mut
Window, &mut App` and every method that took `&mut ViewContext<T>` now
takes `&mut Window, &mut Context<T>`

Not pictured here are the two other failed attempts. It's been quite a
month!

toolchains: Run listing tasks on background thread (#21414)
Potentially fixes #21404

This is a speculative fix, as while I was trying to repro this issue
I've noticed that introducing artificial delays in ToolchainLister::list
could impact apps responsiveness. These delays were essentially there to
stimulate PET taking a while to find venvs.

virtual environments

Add language toolchains (#19576)
This PR adds support for selecting toolchains for a given language (e.g.
Rust toolchains or Python virtual environments) with support for SSH
projects provided out of the box. For Python we piggy-back off of
[PET](https://github.com/microsoft/python-environment-tools), a library
maintained by Microsoft.
