introduced in #35208 whereby modifier keys would show up and not be
removable when editing a keybind

Cherry-picked keymap_ui: Additional keystroke input polish (#35208)
Closes #ISSUE
Fixed various issues and improved UX around the keystroke input
primarily when used for keystroke search.
Release Notes:
- Keymap Editor: FIxed an issue where the modifiers used to activate
keystroke search would appear in the keystroke search
- Keymap Editor: Made it possible to search for repeat modifiers, such
as a binding with `cmd-shift cmd`
- Keymap Editor: Made keystroke search matches match based on ordered
(not necessarily contiguous) runs. For example, searching for `cmd
shift-j` will match `cmd-k cmd-shift-j alt-q` and `cmd-i g shift-j` but
not `alt-k shift-j` or `cmd-k alt-j`
- Keymap Editor: Fixed the clear keystrokes binding (`delete` by
default) not working in the keystroke input

This PR improves Keystroke search by:
1. Allow searching by modifiers without additional keys.
2. Take match count into consideration when deciding if we should show
an action as a search match.
3. Take order into consideration as well.

Adds _key_en_ to _Keystroke_ that is derived from key's scan code. This
is more lightweight approach than #32529
Currently has been tested on x11 and windows. Mac code hasn't been
implemented yet.
Release Notes:
- linux: When typing non-ASCII keys on Linux we will now also match
keybindings against the QWERTY-equivalent layout. This should allow most
of Zed's builtin shortcuts to work out of the box on most keyboard
layouts. **Breaking change**: If you had been using `keysym` names in
your keyboard shortcut file (`ctrl-cyrillic_yeru`, etc.) you should now
use the QWERTY-equivalent characters instead.

Adds a context input to the keybind edit modal. Also fixes some bugs in
the keymap update function to handle context changes gracefully. The
current keybind update strategy implemented in this PR is
* when the context doesn't change, just update the binding in place
* when the context changes, but the binding is the only binding in the
keymap section, update the binding _and_ context in place
* when the context changes, and the binding is _not_ the only binding in
the keymap section, remove the existing binding and create a new section
with the update context and binding so as to avoid impacting other
bindings

Part of #29144, this PR completely rewrites the key handling logic on
Windows, making it much more consistent with how things work on macOS.
However, one remaining issue is that on Windows, we should be using
`Ctrl+Shift+4` instead of `Ctrl+$`. That part is expected to be
addressed in #29144.

Reverts the error behavior introduced in #27558. Upper-case keys in
keybindings no longer generate errors, instead they are transformed into
`shift-{KEY}`
e.g. `ctrl-N` becomes `ctrl-shift-n`
The behavior introduced in #27558 where "special" keys such as function
keys, `control`, `shift`, etc. Are parsed case-insensitively is
preserved.

keys such as the function keys, `control`, `shift`, etc. are now parsed
case-insensitively, so for example `F8`, `CTRL`, `SHIFT` are now
acceptable alternatives to `f8`, `ctrl`, and `shift` when declaring
keybindings. Additionally, upper-case (ascii) characters will now be
converted explicitly to `shift` + the lowercase version of the
character, to match the Vim behavior.

We begin a columnar selection when we drag the mouse while holding
`alt-shift`. This PR makes it possible to start the selection and then
turn it into columnar by pressing `alt-shift`.

Re-land of #20515 with less brokenness
In particular it turns out that for control, the .characters() method
returns the control code. This mostly didn't make a difference, except
when the control code matched tab/enter/escape (for
ctrl-y,ctrl-[/ctrl-c) as we interpreted the key incorrectly.
Secondly, we were setting IME key too aggressively. This led to (in vim
mode) cmd-shift-{ being interpreted as [, so vim would wait for a second
[ before letting you change tab.

This change refactors how we handle input on macOS to avoid simulating
our own IME. This fixes a number of small edge-cases, and also lets us
remove a bunch of code that had been added to work around bugs in the
previous version.

- On macOS: Keyboard shortcuts are now handled before activating the IME
system, this enables using vim's default mode on keyboards that use IME
menus (like Japanese).
- On macOS: Improvements to handling of dead-keys. For example when
typing `""` on a Brazillian keyboard, you now get a committed " and a
new marked ", as happens in other apps. Also, you can now type cmd-^ on
an AZERTY keyboard for indent; and ^ on a QWERTZ keyboard now goes to
the beginning of line in vim normal mode, or `d i "` no requires no
space to delete within quotes on Brazilian keyboards (though `d f "
space` is still required as `f` relies on the input handler, not a
binding).
- On macOS: In the terminal pane, holding down a key will now repeat
that key (as happens in iTerm2) instead of opening the character
selector.

When the keystroke was empty ("") the `ime_key` was converted from
`None` to `Some("")` when `with_simulated_ime` was called. That was
leading to not intentional behavior when an empty keystroke was combined
with `shift-up` in a keybinding `["workspace::SendKeystrokes", "shift-up
"]`.
By adding a `key.is_empty()` we make sure the `ime_key` keeps as `None`.
This was manually tested.

This PR adds some helper functions in the `ui` crate that can be used to
get textural representations of keystrokes or key bindings.

Simplify key dispatch code.
Previously we would maintain a cache of key matchers for each context
that
would store the pending input. For the last while we've also stored the
typed prefix on the window. This is redundant, we only need one copy, so
now
it's just stored on the window, which lets us avoid the boilerplate of
keeping
all the matchers in sync.
This stops us from losing multikey bindings when the context on a node
changes
(#11009) (though we still interrupt multikey bindings if the focus
changes).
While in the code, I fixed up a few other things with multi-key bindings
that
were causing problems:
Previously we assumed that all multi-key bindings took precedence over
any
single-key binding, now this is done such that if a user binds a
single-key
binding, it will take precedence over all system-defined multi-key
bindings
(irrespective of the depth in the context tree). This was a common cause
of
confusion for new users trying to bind to `cmd-k` or `ctrl-w` in vim
mode
(#13543).
Previously after a pending multi-key keystroke failed to match, we would
drop
the prefix if it was an input event. Now we correctly replay it
(#14725).

It is sometimes desirable to allow modifers to serve as keys themselves
for the purposes of keybinds. For example, the popular keybind in
jetbrains IDEs `shift shift` which opens the file finder.
This change treats modifers in the keymaps as keys themselves if they
are not accompanied by a key they are modifying.
Further this change wires up they key dispatcher to treat modifer change
events as key presses which are considered for matching against
keybinds.

Note:
- We have disabled all tests that rely on Postgres in the Linux CI. We
only really need to test these once, and as macOS is our team's primary
platform, we'll only enable them on macOS for local reproduction.
- We have disabled all tests that rely on the font metrics. We
standardized on Zed Mono in many fonts, but our CoreText Text System and
Cosmic Text System proved to be very different in effect. We should
revisit if we decide to standardize our text system across platforms
(e.g. using Harfbuzz everywhere)
- Extended the condition timeout significantly. Our CI machines are slow
enough that this is causing spurious errors in random tests.

This PR includes two relevant changes:
- Platform binds (super, windows, cmd) will now parse on all platforms,
regardless of which one is being used. While very counter-intuitive
(this means that `cmd-d` will actually be triggered by `win-d` on
windows) this makes it possible to reuse keymap files across platforms
easily
- There is now a KeyContext `os == linux`, `os == macos` or `os ==
windows` available in keymaps. This allows users to specify certain
blocks of keybinds only for one OS, allowing you to minimize the amount
of keymappings that you have to re-configure for each platform.

- Added `os` KeyContext, set to either `linux`, `macos` or `windows`
- Fixed keymap parsing errors when `cmd` was used on linux, `super` was
used on mac, etc.
This PR adds support for handling action releases — events that
are fired when the user releases all the modifier keys that were part of
an action-triggering shortcut.
If the user holds modifiers and invokes several actions sequentially via
shortcuts (same or different), only the last action is "released" when
its modifier keys released.

Before this change if you had a matching binding and a pending key,
the matching binding happened unconditionally.
Now we will wait a second before triggering that binding to give you
time to complete the action.
